Best Buy uses all four dimensions of quality: quality of design, quality of conformance, availability, and field service. Best Buy makes a lot of their own products such as Dynex, Rocketfish, Geek Squad, and Insignia. Best Buy listens to what customers want and they create a quality of design before the product is even manufactured. Best Buy rigorously checks to make sure all products meet specifications and are not defective by using quality of conformance. Best Buy uses availability by the products carried in their stores. They offer 24/7 customer service and in-store or onsite repair service. Lastly, Best Buy uses field service. They offer service plans to their customers which covers if the product breaks. Best Buy can send the Geek Squad to come out to your house and fix the issue or you can come into the store and they will send it out for service if it’s not repairable.
Best Buy and its suppliers have certification that all products produced are guaranteed against defect. If by some chance a product is mishandled when it gets to a Best Buy store and is defective. Best Buy can send it back and get their full money back. Best Buy can have third parties to inspect the products produced more thoroughly. This would prevent defective items from ever leaving the factory.
